The baltic index reaches the highest 17 weeks, install the fourth weekly gain in a row


The Baltic Exchange Baltic Sea Transport Index, which monitors tariffs for ships moving dried bulk commodities, reaches the peak of 17 weeks on Friday and posts the fourth weekly profit in a row, because the tariffs are strengthened for all segments.

The main index, which are factors in tariffs for shipping shipping ships, Panamax and Supramax, rose 19 points to 1,669 points. It rose 18% for this week.

The Castesize Index fell 36 points at 2,857 points, but was on the track for the fourth successive profit, up 19.5% for this week.

The average daily income for capsizing ships, which usually transport 150,000 tons of cargo such as iron ore and coal, down $ 295 to $ 23,697, even when they are set for weekly profits.

Iron ore futures prices rise to the highest level in almost two weeks, and are on the path for weekly profits, supported by tough demand and increasing expectations of additional stimulus steps in leading China.

The Panamax index reached the highest five months, adding 65 points to 1,365, the weekly increase of 31%.

The average daily income for Panamax ships, which usually carry 60,000-70,000 tons of coal or seeds, rose $ 587 to $ 12,287, the highest since October 14.

Among the smaller ships, the Supramax index rose 35 points to 930 points, the highest almost 12 weeks, up 4% for this week.
