Kazakhstan State Energy Company, Kazmunaygaz plans to export around 250,000 metric tons (5,400 barrels per day) from Kashagan oil through the standard pipes of the Cey-Ceyhan in 2025, he said on Wednesday, trying to bypass Russia.
Exposure Kashagan Field, one of the biggest discoveries in the world in the last few decades, is being developed by Eni, Shell, Towenergy, ExxonMobil, Kazmunaygaz, Inpex and CNPC.
This field produces around 378,500 barrels per day (BPD) in 2024, lower than the initial estimated capacity of 400,000 BPD.
