Greek ICS Pitta Pitta interrupted 2025 events


Institute of Chartered Shipbroker (ICS) Greek branch succeeded in hosting the annual vassilopita slaughtering event, uniting members, industrial professionals, and honorable guests for the night of discussion and in -depth night networks.

Before the traditional Vasilopita slaughtering, ICS Greek Branch, in collaboration with P&P Marine Consultants, organized the seminar on “Sea Victims: Expert Views About Effective Handling.” The event features an honorable panel of industrial specialists who provide a valuable perspective on the complexity of the sea incidence, handling of claims, and financial and legal implications of victims at sea.

The panel discussion was moderated by Harris Loukopoulos, the head of the legal at Evalend Shipping Co. Ltd, and displays prominent experts:

• Dimitriadis anestics, Senior Claim Executive, Lawyer, Skuld Hellas Ltd.
• Konstantinos Economou, Secretary General, Executive Association of Hellenic Delivery & Head of Financing, Attica, Pancreta Bank
• George Margaritopoulos, Associate Director, Richards Hogg Lindley (RHL)
• Harilaos Petrakakos, Director – Senior Surveyor, P&P Marine Consultants Inc.

After the seminar, members and friends from the shipping industry have the opportunity to interact in a warm atmosphere during the Cocctail reception. The spotlight that night was the highly anticipated Vassilopita cutting, where the lucky winner from traditional coins received extraordinary prizes.
