Europe will need around 230 additional cargo liquid natural gas (LNG) this year compared to 2024 to achieve the goal of filling continental storage up to 90% of the capacity, CEO Equinor Anders Omedal told Bloomberg TV on Wednesday.
European gas storage has thinned faster this winter due to cold weather and termination of Russia’s supply.
